So who seeks help from a Cognitive Hypnotherapist?
It's true to say that there is no 'typical' client. They are students, GPs, housewives, bus drivers, managers, business owners, midwives, hairdressers, tradesmen, retired people, children, even other hypnotherapists - in fact, I see people from all walks of life. The thing they have in common is realising that they need a little help in finding a way forward in their lives, and recognising that Cognitive Hypnotherapy could offer that solution.
This is brief therapy – so how long does it take?
I have a large number of techniques at my disposal, which are regularly being updated, to help guide you to make significant changes to many aspects of your life, be it in a personal or business context. Because of this, you might be surprised at just how quickly changes can occur. Some simple issues may be successfully dealt with in 2 - 3 sessions. For some more deep-rooted problems, a little longer may be required, perhaps 6 – 8 sessions. I don’t advocate booking a fixed number of sessions at the beginning of our work. Together, we will assess at the end of each session whether another is appropriate for you. So you only pay for the sessions you need. Of course, the more committed you are, the quicker you will begin to see changes.
