I have always had an interest in people, and in helping them be the best they can, but had really never found a career that allowed me to do that in a way that I found fulfilling.
That changed, when a number of years ago I was fortunate enough to come across The Quest Institute which offered me the high standard of training I was looking for. I completed my Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy with them and it has marked a turning point in my life, where I can honestly say that I love my work, and what it allows me to achieve, to help people in so many ways. I've used what I learn to help myself achieve what I want in my life and to be a happier person generally. I'm not perfect, but a 'work in progress', as we all are, don't you think?
I work full-time as a cognitive hypnotherapist; it's not just something that I do in my spare-time. And because I take great pride in being the best I can, I regularly attend courses, workshops and seminars (too numberous to mention) which keeps my training up to date so that you may benefit from the latest techniques available.
You might be asking, 'What's different about you?'
Well, I'm glad you asked. I offer a friendly, professional and ethical service, where you can be heard in a non-judgemental way, but I suppose every therapist says that, don't they?
But more than that, as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, I know that every client I see is an individual. So, each will have a bespoke treatment plan, depending on what your individual needs are. You won't see any generic scripts as you might with some hypnotherapists. If you were to go to see any other type of hypnotherapist, the chances are what you would get is a set script for whatever you labelled your problem. You are so much more than a label, and deserve to be treated as such.
All Cognitive Hypnotherapists such as myself are trained in the use of WordweavingTM, which means we tailor-make our hypnotic suggestion to suit each client, thereby helping you to achieve the changes you want, in the shortest time possible. And because I use Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) combined with hypnosis, I have so many tools available to help you, and together they are a powerful media for change.

I have also been trained as a New Code NLP Practitioner with Peter Salisbury of NLP Coaching Success Ltd. New Code NLP was developed by John Grinder, co-founder of classic code NLP. I am fully insured, as are all members of the NCH and am totally committed to undertake continuous professional development (CPD) so that you can be assured that I have access to the most up to date techniques available.
I am registered with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO), registration number 81410.
You really need to feel comfortable with your choice of hypnotherapist, so I suggest that you contact at least two others, so that you can be certain that my approach of cognitive hypnotherapy is the right one for you. When you are ready, you can contact me via the usual routes.
